At MediScreen™, we appreciate that clinical negligence is a skilled speciality and that detailed client statements are crucial and often outside the expertise of the average enquiry agent.

Not all para-legals have professional training to draw upon to allow them to understand matters such as causation and limitation as well as complex medical procedures and associated terminology.

We are able to visit your client at home, in hospital or in any other setting to obtain full instructions which we will then provide to you as a typed up and signed witness statement to comply with current court requirements.

We are also able to obtain signatures for all documention connected with the financing and management of a claim as well consent forms for the release of hospital records.

Where requested, we can, for a set fee, carry out all th above preliminary work, including the provision of a statement of claim, the signing of neccessary documentation, the obtaining and sorting of all medical records and the provision of a preliminary report on the same together with a note of our views on causation, likely liability and the likely cost of pursuing a claim.

In insurance funded cases and where after the event cover is sought, we are able to provide the above service as a precursor to seeking cover. The client is able to fund our fees directly as a cheaper alternative to avoid wasted legal costs in matters which may ultimately prove financially unviable.
